**Key Responsibilities**:
- Attend assigned regional and/or local scientific and medical congresses to capture information relevant to the organization’s scientific platforms and timely report this information to internal collaborators during debrief meetings.
- Assist in facilitating KOL involvement in national, regional, and local educational forums including advisory boards, investigator meetings, educational symposia, and sponsored promotional programs.
- Maintain a thorough and detailed working knowledge of the organization and its clinical products, current scientific research, and publications.
- Analyze medical data (including the competitors’ landscape) and integrate these in the integrated medical plan.
- Provide expert support to the commercial activities such as promotional talks, corporate symposia, commercial advisory boards, brand planning, etc.
**Qualifications**:
- Master’s degree (required), MD, PharmD, or PhD (preferred).
- Disease area knowledge in the field of haemato-oncology, clinical immunology.
- Minimum of 3 years of field-based scientific affairs experience preferred, or 3 years of work experience in the IVD medical device industry also acceptable.
**Skills and Competencies**:
- Ability to critically analyze and interpret complicated clinical and pre-clinical data.
- Ability to identify unmet medical, educational, and research needs within the medical community.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrates integrity and ability to develop trust with peers and others within the US and Worldwide BD Medical Affairs and other BU functions.
- Demonstrates ability to present approved scientific data to HCPs in both group and individual settings.
- Fluent in English and German or French.
- Willingness to travel (50%) and work on a non-scheduled basis, including occasional weekends.
