Axcis Education are working with a mainstream primary school in the Liskeard area of Cornwall who require teaching assistants on a full time basis. This role will require you to provide general in-class support but you will also be expected to support some pupils with additional needs on a 1-1 basis occasionally. Working hours will be 8.30 - 3.15, Monday - Friday, term time only.

This primary school is two form entry, with approximately 420 children on roll. The role of a teaching assistant is to support the class teacher and also to support children’s learning. These positions are across all ages - supporting pupils as general classroom support, in small groups and also on a 1-1 basis. Public transport available to the school is limited and so you should have access to a vehicle for this role.
