We are working with a Fortune 500 company based in the City of London.

As a**Site Reliability Engineer**will collaborate with product development teams to continually improve the services and facilitate fast delivery of new products while eliminating toil and operational work.

Role Responsibilities
- Own the production environment
- Balance feature development velocity and reliability by constructing well-defined SLOs
- Demonstrate plant health through plant monitoring, alerting provisioning and capacity management
- Automate repetitive maintenance and troubleshooting tasks
- Scale systems sustainably by integrating resilience and high availability at all levels

**Essential**
- Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps background
- Programming experience - Python, Java, C++, Golang

**Desirable**
- Familiarity with continuous integration/deployment technologies
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), e.g. Ansible
- Orchestration experience - Kubernetes, Docker
- Scripting in Python, Bash or similar language
