We are looking for a Lithographic Printer, where you will be responsible in setting up and running print jobs efficiently and accurately, including paper, ink, plates and rollers. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced printing environment with room for development. We moved into our new, industry leading plant in Cumbernauld at the start of 2025 and our printing press is the latest version of the Heidelberg 8 colour press

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operating the Heidelberg Press to print high quality labels and tube / box wraps in the most efficient and cost effective manner by maximising production output and minimising wastage of materials
- Ensuring jobs are printed according to work tickets
- Achieving agreed output levels whilst ensuring conformance with company quality control standards
- Problem solving to ensure efficient running of the printing press
- Fitting printing plates to machine
- Making ready checking all elements including paper, ink, plates, rollers etc are correct and in place
- Ensuring all paperwork is accurate and print procedures are followed at all times
- Checking production against pass sheet at regular intervals
- Regular general maintenance of machine
- Ensuring machinery and surrounding areas are kept clean and tidy
- All other duties as and when required

**What We're Looking For**:

- Able to work on their own initiative & collectively as a crew
- Good eye for colour, detail & accuracy
- Proficient in numeracy & literacy
- Reliable & possess an excellent timekeeping / attendance record.
- Flexible approach to changing work priorities and an ability to work to strict deadlines
- Full flexibility is required including cross training between departments
- Label Printing / Tube / Box Wrap printing experience necessary

**Please note, this role will involve manual handling and working a three-shift rotation. Full training will be provided.**
