**Sports Coach - Secondary Alternate Provision (SEND)**

**Spencer Clarke Group **is working with a specialised **Secondary Alternate Provision** school dedicated to supporting students with **Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH)** needs. **Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Plan & Deliver PE Sessions**: Design and implement engaging and inclusive sports lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEMH.
- **Encourage Participation**: Promote physical fitness and teamwork, encouraging students to build confidence and social skills through structured sports activities.
- **Collaborate with Staff**: Work alongside teachers and support staff to integrate physical education into broader learning goals.
- **Monitor Progress**: Track and assess student performance, offering constructive feedback to help them improve both their physical abilities and emotional wellbeing.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Coaching Experience**: Recognised coaching qualifications and experience working in sports coaching.
- **SEMH Experience**: Prior experience working with students with SEMH is highly desirable.
- **Strong Communication**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage students and staff alike.
- **Resilience & Empathy**: Patience and a genuine desire to support young people facing behavioural and emotional challenges.
