We are looking for an accredited Therapist with extensive experience to work with adolescents and their families living in Hertfordshire. The therapist role sits within the Central SASH team who are based at Farnham House, Stevenage and work from a hybrid model both at home and in the community countywide.

Central SASH work from a trauma informed perspective to deliver intensive, bespoke support to young people (aged 11-18) at risk of coming into local authority care. We also support young people to return home following a family breakdown. Young People we work with are typically at risk of being exploited or experiencing complex mental health difficulties resulting in an admission to a Tier 4 hospital.

We are looking for an adaptable therapist to deliver short-term intervention to children, their carers and those significant to them. Therapy will take place in the home or in the community. It will require a flexible approach to delivering a therapeutic intervention sometimes in unpredictable circumstances. Appointment times will vary throughout the week to meet the needs of the client and occasionally require some early evenings. Prior social care experience is likely to be helpful and a person-centred or systemic modality is preferential.

A full driving licence and access to a car is essential.

**English Fluency**:The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post (for those whose language is a signed language the provision of a sign language interpreter who speaks English to the necessary standard of fluency will be required).
