Experienced Marquee Erector

At Beau and bell we are currently looking for an experienced marquee erector, with knowledge on Sailcloth’s, Tipis and stretch tents.

You will be joining a crew to set up Sailcloth Marquees & Tipis for wedding, festivals and private party receptions at outdoor events. You will work as part of a close-knit team of foremen and riggers travelling all over the Southeast in the installation and disassemble of Sailcloth Marquees, Tipis and stretch tents at venues of all kinds.

MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT TO & FROM THE LOCKUP
- Pay: Competitive hourly or daily rates
- Hours: Flexible hours depending on bookings. In the industry, flexibility is a must. Days can be long in the high season. Weekend work is sometimes required, normally Sundays not Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities of the Role
- Load marquees and equipment at our yard and reload on site at the end of a job.
- Assist in the installation and disassembly of the structures at designated site locations and ensure that all tasks allocated are accurately carried out in accordance with company procedures and policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and managers to ensure precise and efficient execution.
- Always maintain Health & safety standards.
- To attend team briefings prior to any jobs commencing and debriefing meetings following every disassembly.
- To ensure all vehicles are loaded at the yard, in accordance with the operation managers instructions (when required to do so)
- To ensure all vehicles are reloaded on site, at the end of every job in accordance with the operation managers instructions.

Previous Experience
- MUST HAVE OWN TRANSPORT TO & FROM THE LOCKUP
- Driving Licence - Comfortable driving LWB Van, Luton
- Work in the events, marquee setups and knowledge of Sailcloth’s, Tipis & Stetch tents.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- English as a first or second language as all marquee structures will be erected in the UK.
- Trailer licence a bonus

You’ll need to be physically fit and able to responsibly carry out heavy lifting. Confident, motivated and enthusiastic with high standards and the ability to deliver jobs on schedule.
