Our team is passionate about hospitality and works together to create memorable moments for every person who walks through our doors. **The Role**: **Key Responsibilities**: - **Customer Service Excellence**: Greet guests warmly, manage reservations, and provide knowledgeable recommendations on both our food and drink menus. - **Food Service**: Accurately take food and drink orders, use our POS system efficiently, and deliver food to tables in a timely and professional manner. - **Bar Service**: Prepare and serve a full range of drinks, including pouring pints, mixing cocktails, and serving wines and spirits. Maintain an expert knowledge of our drink list. - **Menu Knowledge**: Become an expert on our food menu, understanding ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials to confidently answer guest questions and make suggestions. - **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with the kitchen and other front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and a positive working environment. - **Upkeep and Cleanliness**: Maintain a clean and organized bar and dining area, including stocking supplies, cleaning glassware, and setting tables. - **Problem-Solving**: Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a positive, solution-oriented attitude. - **Cash Handling**: Process payments accurately using our POS system and handle cash and card transactions. **Skills & Experience**: - Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced pub, restaurant, or bar environment is essential. - A genuine passion for food, drink, and delivering excellent customer service. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work well under pressure and multitask effectively. - A proactive and positive "can-do" attitude. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. - Knowledge of food and beverage hygiene and safety standards. - Experience with POS systems is a plus. **What We Offer**: - Competitive hourly wage plus tips. - The opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team. - Training and development opportunities to enhance your skills in both food and drink service. - A fun and fast-paced working environment. - Staff discounts on food and drink. **How to Apply**: If you are a dedicated and customer-focused individual with a love for great food and drink, we would love to hear from you.
