**About The Role**:
**Days of Working**: Variable across the week.

This is a casual contract providing holiday and sickness cover to a team of 9 guards. Shifts are 12 hours long and are either 18:00-06:00 (7 days a week) or 06:00-18:00 (Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays). You will be working across two sites in East Cowes and will need your own transport due to 6am starts/finishes. Due to the nature of our client's business, we will need to BPSS-clear you which includes a DBS.

**As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Recording of vehicles, visitors and contractors as well as all site activities maintaining accurate records and a site daily occurrence record
- Monitor site visually and via CCTV and be fully conversant with the CCTV and site electronic security systems responding to alerts and alarms as required
- Completing regular site patrols and inspections of client’s premises in accordance with the assignment Instructions
- To show a professional security presence throughout the site
- To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the company’s Health & Safety policy and Health & Safety Management plans
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
- You will be required to undergo screening and vetting (BS7858)

- Professional manner and appearance
- High levels of vigilance
- Confident use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and CCTV systems
- Full driving license (not automatic-only)
