**Test Analyst**

Modis are currently working in partnership with a market leading service provider to recruit an experienced Test Analyst to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an evolving business with ongoing exposure to new technologies.

**Please note this is a remote role with flexibility required to travel to client sites UK wide.**

**The Role**

As a Test Analyst you will have the opportunity to work on functional test projects allowing you to stay hands on creating and executing test cases but also gaining access to cutting edge tools and technologies. You will be working across multiple disciplinesand sectors so you will therefore need to be of a consultative nature and be able to liaise with individuals of varying levels of technical knowledge.

**The Responsibilities**
- Participate in business and functional requirement reviews
- Define conditions and test cases
- Write detailed test scripts
- Maintain traceability between test cases and requirements
- Specify test data requirements and production of test data
- Define detailed test sets and test run order
- Maintain traceability between tests and defects raised
- Support root cause analysis processes for defects identified
- Execute testing and record defects found
- Support UAT as required

**The Requirements**
- Ideally you will have worked in a Consultancy based background
- Broad range of functional test experience gained across multiple sectors
- Experience operating within modern (e.g., Agile/ SCRUM/ BDD) and traditional test methodologies
- Adept to working with a broad range of Test Management tooling (e.g., ALM/ Jira/ DevOps)
- Proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and clients
- Organised and able to manage workloads to deliver against agreed priorities and deadlines, escalating to your Test Lead/Manager if required
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, challenging, and dynamic environment
- Proactive approach to managing work levels and actions
