Risk Business Partner - Delivery Risk

Role Description:
The objective of the Second Line Risk team is to deliver, coordinate and continuously develop an effective Risk Management Framework that provides the tools to enable FNZ to identify, assess, control and monitor risk and through that framework manage risk within the appetite of the business, our clients, and regulators.

The Risk Business Partner brings both experience and knowledge of risk management tools and frameworks demonstrated through practical experience and achievements in similar roles. As FNZ is a technology business, the role requires experience of managing technology risks and change, in addition to a wider experience within Operational Risk.

The duties and responsibilities of this role will include the following:
- Providing support and challenge to key business stakeholders in implementing FNZ risk management reporting, including developing a suite of relevant key risk indicators and responding to regulatory or internal change.- Representing Second Line Risk at the appropriate governance committees of FNZ (including the Delivery Risk Committee and Change Release Board).- Working closely with the Compliance function to align risk management and compliance approaches.- Working with operational risk colleagues to support a robust and timely risk event, risk reporting, and control self-assessment framework.- Ensuring risk practices are embedded in Delivery business activity, e.g. Risk Event and Post Implementation Review alignment.- Assisting in the design and operation of an effective, risk assurance programme across the Delivery function.- Advising and providing guidance to senior management and employees on risk management issues, in particular taking the lead regarding Delivery risk.- Providing risk management support to product/service development and proposition developments.- Evaluating the risk exposure relating to new business activities, including considering the appetite to risk and the current assessment of the risk associated with such activities, and reviewing individual project risk registers.- Attending, and being an active participant at, the Delivery Risk Committee.- Ensuring there is robust risk management in place for significant and business critical change projects.- Maintaining the suite of risk management policies and ensuring that these are embedded in core processes and individual roles within the Delivery function.- Assisting in embedding a Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) framework within the Delivery function, including relevant upstream and Board level reporting on the effectiveness and efficiency of core Delivery processes.

Experience Required:
- Experience of change risk management and supporting / challenging Delivery risks.- Working knowledge of FCA, Data regulation and Financial Crime regulations.- Excellent knowledge of industry risk management best practice.- Experience of developing and implementing management policies and processes.- Ability to understand and articulate the commercial benefits of effective risk management.- Excellent communication, relationship management and influencing skills.- Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships.- Ability to analyse, present and report risk management information to senior stakeholders.- Ability and confidence to respectfully challenge senior stakeholders.
