Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to join our team. The Finance Assistant will be responsible for providing support to our finance department which is in the United States and assisting with various customer and financial tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in finance and contribute to the success of our organization.

**Duties**:

- Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared.
- Verify and maintain customer information in the accounting and billing system.
- Communicate with customers to resolve billing inconsistencies, errors, queries regarding airtime invoices and/or services.
- Process data entry related to price increases, plan changes, account updates, etc.
- Create invoices to be sent directly to a customer.
- Upload invoices to a third-party portal for payment.
- Setup new customers in the corresponding systems.
- Coordinate with various cross functional teams, such as operations, sales, and activations.
- Other duties and functions as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Post-secondary degree/diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of 5 years' experience working within a finance role.
- Proactive planning
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills as this job requires direct verbal and electronic communication with our customers
- Intermediate to advanced Excel spreadsheet skills
- Ability to work in a team environment within the Finance Department, but also across other departments in the Company, as this is not a behind-the-scenes function
- Ability to work efficiently and diligently during standard business working hours, but some longer working hours should be expected during high volume times of the year related to world events
- A willingness to embrace and live the core values of NI US & UK Government/Network Innovations.
- The ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Security Clearance (or willingness to achieve clearance). This requires full British Nationality

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
