Role Description
To provide analysis & insights through reporting to ensure the effective delivery of the Site and Chilled Meals strategy in line with statutory, Pilgrims and best practice standards. Ownership for the delivery of the cost of sales (crate costs, yields and PPV's)reporting for the business across 4 Factories.
Provide support to our business partners and assist in the preparation of timely, accurate, value-added information to site teams, including financial analysis that assists in operational decision making, and to proactively use information generated to challengeand influence local teams.
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly journals, highlighting and providing insights to performance and highlighting ongoing opportunities/risks to the P&L and communicating appropriately to various stakeholders.
- Prepare, distribute and provide insights into weekly reports
- Balance sheet reconciliations & monthly review meetings, managing Risk and highlighting opportunities.
- Provision of quality information and analysis of key financial data
- Ensure strong internal controls are in place and maintained to mitigate business risk
- Assist in preparation and presentation of timely, accurate, value-added information to site teams including financial analysis that assists in operational decision making.
- Embrace a culture of continuous improvement
Skills and Experience
You will have an accounting-related degree ideally and working towards a recognised accountancy qualification. You will have strong analytical and numerical skills. Extensive knowledge of management accounting (preferably within manufacturing or FMCG). Proficientwith Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel. SAP and Power BI experience desirable.
You will be a results-driven and ambitious individual with an attention to detail and an eye for continuous improvement. Excellent communication and influencing skills with an ability to build relationships across a matrix organization. Excellent analyticalskills bringing brilliant financial insights to the business.
