We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated housekeeping assistants to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Housekeeping Assistants are responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, ensuring the room is ready for guest arrival or during the stay. They follow the standards and procedures set by the housekeeping department to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for guests.

**Duties**:

- Clean guest rooms according to hotel standards, ensuring rooms are sanitized, organised, and meet the hotel’s cleanliness standards.
- Dust and wipe all surfaces, including furniture, windowsills, lamps, and shelves.
- Clean and sanitize the bathroom, including the toilet, shower/bathtub, sink, and mirrors.
- Change linens and towels, making beds with fresh linens and ensuring that beds are neatly arranged.
- Ensure toiletries, amenities, and room supplies are replenished (e.g., soap, shampoo, toilet paper, tissues).
- Remove trash from the guest room and replace liners in trash cans.
- Check for and report any maintenance issues such as plumbing, lighting, or furniture repairs.
- Follow the hotel’s room cleaning checklist to ensure all tasks are completed thoroughly.

**Responsibilities**:
Room Cleaning
- Clean guest rooms according to hotel standards, ensuring rooms are sanitized, organized, and meet the hotel’s cleanliness standards.

Health & Safety
- Follow safety guidelines for handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, and material

Quality control
- Follow the hotel’s room cleaning checklist to ensure all tasks are completed thoroughly.

Stocking & Inventory
- Ensure the room is stocked with necessary supplies such as towels, bed linens, and toiletries before cleaning.

Laundry & Linen Management
- Ensure that fresh linens are neatly folded, stored, and available for use.

Maintenance Issues
- Report any broken or malfunctioning equipment immediately to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Maintenance Department.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a hospitality or housekeeping setting is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A willingness to help others and contribute positively to the team dynamic.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends as needed.
