**In a Nutshell**

We have a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Vistry Partnerships West Midlands. As our Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for undertaking and being responsible for the commercial aspects required as a site-based QuantitySurveyor. As a site-based Quantity Surveyor we would look for you to form strong relationships with the respective Project Manager, Site Managers and Design team. Externally, a strong relationship with the Client team is important, along with clear directionand logical reasoning with the supply chain.

Specifically, you will be running as commercial lead on an exciting development in Whitchurch, Shropshire. The scheme comprises of a refurbishment of the Pauls Moss house, 71nr apartments, and medical centre for the local community. Scheme value approximately£19m and includes the demolition of existing blocks, statutory services and external works.

- Professional membership of MCIOB or RICS preferable or working towards such qualification.

**More about the Quantity Surveyor role**
- Ensure that the Contracts achieve the optimum cashflow position.
- Completion and compliance with required contract documentation including Performance Bonds, Parent Company Guarantees and Warranties.
- Prepare and manage key and large risk subcontract accounts from inception to final accounts.
- Ensure the procurement of sub-contractors is in line with the Vistry Business Management System and that the packages cover the scope of the works.
- Check and ensure compliance and issuing of timely Payment and Pay less notices to Subcontractors.
- Control, monitor and improve commercial processes and deliver the objectives and targets for the Contract teams.
- Preparing monthly CVR & VCA reports for presentation to the Business Unit Management.
