**Job description**:
The Matrix Programme is a transformation initiative involving 9 Departments (listed at end). It is a unique cross-government collaboration that will unlock simpler, better, and more joined up working by bringing together the systems, processes, and ways of working for key government functions such as HR, Finance or Procurement, commonly known as Shared Services.

The Programme is part of the Shared Services Team, a fantastic team passionate about improving the existing shared services experience for DSIT and its partners whilst working to deliver the strategic objectives of the new Government Shared Services Strategy

We will deliver the Government's three overarching objectives for shared services:
1. Better experience for all users - intuitive systems that are easy to use and mobile-enabled.

2. Efficiency and value for money - better systems and services which support productivity and seek to reduce costs.

3. Standardised processes and data - support interoperability, making it easier to understand and compare corporate data.

**Person specification**:
Short Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Cutover Leads to join the Matrix Technology Implementation team to drive the cutover preparation and execution phase by working closely with the wider Technology Project Management team, stakeholders within departments and third-party suppliers to ensure a smooth transition within the Matrix Programme.

The role will focus on managing the programme’s transition from current legacy and on-premise technology solutions, to a single ERP solution for the cluster. It will require alignment of transition activity from our shared service provider, departments and programme workstreams to achieve this common goal.

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of consultants and civil servants, working across nine departments with a wide range of stakeholders, consultants and technical specialists to implement user centred back-office services for HR, Finance, Payroll & Procurement supporting technical integration and cross Government inter-operability.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Lead cutover planning in a complex programme of activity with competing priorities and multiple needs, whilst working at pace.
- Contribute to effective governance, transition planning and execution, utilising appropriate delivery methodologies including between programme phases to manage change effectively.
