**The Role**

The Procurement department is responsible for acquiring the desired goods using best market knowledge, at the best possible total cost of ownership, in the right quantity, of the right quality, at the right time. The post holder is responsible for all aspects of Procurement (UK and IE) within a defined supply category and will support other supply categories as necessary.

The objective of the role is to assist in the development and daily management of an efficient, proactive and cost effective supply base while developing a mature, proactive professional and personal relationship with all suppliers and all internal operational departments.

**What we are looking for**
- Have eligibility to work in the UK/IE OR possess a valid work permit that will allow you to take up full time, permanent employment in the UK/IE
- HNC/HND level qualification (or equivalent)

**OR**

Significant relevant experience of working in a similar role
- Previous procurement experience within a busy office environment

OR
- Significant relevant experience in a pharmaceutical role
- Previous experience of working within an accredited quality system
- Proven working knowledge of planning, procurement and purchasing systems
- Proven working knowledge of the handling of supplier or quality non-conformance issues
- Previous experience of supplier agreements and performance measurement

**Working Pattern**

This role will be based on a flex working pattern. This means your core hours of work is 10.00 - 16.00 based on 37.5 hours per week between Monday - Friday. Hybrid working option available after training and in line with work from home policy.
