Furniture Removalist

**Full job description**

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Load and unload items from vehicles, ensuring that all goods are securely packed and protected during transit.
- Drive removal vans or lorries to transport goods to various locations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service throughout the moving process.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks as required, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the organisation and management of warehouse operations when necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle and equipment used for removals.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a removalist or similar role is preferred but not essential.
- A valid driving licence with experience in commercial driving is highly desirable.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks, demonstrating physical fitness and stamina.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with clients and team members.
- Experience as a van driver or delivery driver is an advantage.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork is essential.
