12 Month Construction Placement

If you are studying for aconstruction related degree andare committed toa career in the industry, we can offer you invaluable work experience throughour 12-month construction placement.
Coulson Building Group works for private and public-sector clients on new build, refurbishment, restoration and listed building projects up to £8 million in value. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the project team including Contracts/Project Managers, Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors and Estimators and will be involved in projects from initial enquiry through tosuccessful completion. You will be working on real projects and will have real responsibility from the outset, with the support of your fellow team members.
We are continually looking to add to our first-class team and a successful placement could lay the foundations for longer term employment post-graduation.
**Person Requirements**
- Must be seeking a sandwich placement as part of a construction related degree and on target
to achieve a minimum of a 2:1.
- You will be expected to liaise with stakeholder and suppliers so a professional attitude is
essential.
- Enthusiastic and proactive
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible and able to work as part of a team and using own initiative
- Good organisational skills and the ability toprioritise
- Abilityto work to deadlines
- Abilityto use a range of IT packages including Microsoft Office and bespoke packages
You’ll need to have the right to live and work within the UK and a full UK driving license so you cantravel to our various sites.
**Job Type**: Temporary contract
**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year
