This role is located in Marchwood, within the Cawood Scientific Environment Division. Marchwood, part of Cawood, was established in 1998 and performs a range of specialist analytical testing services to customers operating in the Environmental, Industrial and Agricultural Sectors from its three laboratories based in the South and North of England. JOB DETAILS
Job Title: Sample Reception Admin
Site Location: Marchwood - Worsley
Reports to: Ian Loftus

Job Holder:
JOB PURPOSE STATEMENT
To receive, unpack and log customer samples onto the laboratory system, ensuring they are ready for analysis.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES AND MAIN DUTIES
- Receive and unpack customer samples on arrival at site, ensuring paperwork is present and legible.
- Liaise with laboratory and customer service colleagues to ensure that customer requirements are achievable.
- Log samples onto the system accurately and efficiently.
- Understand and follow the Standard Operating Procedures provided.
- Work as a team, maintaining morale and actively offering help and assistance wherever possible.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Good eye for detail.
- Ability to prioritise workloads
