**Reactive Detective Constable - Worcester**

Expressions of interest are sought from PC and DC's, who have completed their probationary period for the role of Detective Constable (Reactive CID) based at South Worcestershire LPA.

This is a great opportunity for officers who want to investigate serious and complex crime. Dealing with crimes such as
- Suspicious / unexplained deaths
- Robbery with a serious level of violence
- Murder and serious assaults
- Serious sexual offences
- Complex fraud

This list is not exhaustive and Reactive CID will allow you to experience a variety of investigations to develop your skillset and work towards becoming an accredited detective constable.

In addition to working together to investigate offences to the highest standard, Reactive CID works closely with statutory and voluntary partners to provide support and safeguarding to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.

The nature of Reactive CID work is challenging but hugely rewarding. The departments will be at the forefront of delivering West Mercia Police vision and values of protecting people from harm.

Key Skills:
Demonstrate a real belief in public service and an ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team.
