Business Analyst

Your new company
East Hampshire District Council are looking to appoint a new Business Analyst to join their organisation for a 2-year fixed term contract. This is a key role to help the successful transition of their digital and transformational projects. EHDC has really embracedflexible working by making this role remote.

Your new role
You will have a close-knit relationship with the project Manager and will advise them of the current changes you are implementing and how this will benefit their projects. You will have to engage with stakeholders and produce governance reports, as well asevaluate and identify certain areas within the business that can be developed and advanced to help projects stick within budget and timeframe.
You will get a chance to work alongside Programme Managers and have a chance to express what ideas you believe will be best and most efficient for the business.
You will help run monthly workshops to bring your team together and to make sure that all projects are staying within the budgets, this will allow you the opportunity to engage with your team and have a direct impact with your ideas.
What you'll need to succeed
For this role you will need experience as a Business Analyst within a public sector organisation. A vital part of your role will be managing budgets and engaging with high level stakeholders and senior management to implement change within the team. Any BusinessAnalyst qualifications would be advantageous but not essential.
You will need to assess problems and find elegant solutions to help the Project Manager and his team, this will mean that you need to have excellent communication and teamwork skills. EHDC are looking to expand their current projects, and this will mean thatyou must adapt and overcome the challenges that may be faced with the organisations business strategies.
