My client, a well-known market leading Financial Services organisation, is seeking an MI Analyst to join them on a 12 month FTC.

The role

This role will provide key support to all the teams within the Group General Counsel function. Working alongside the other Group General Counsel Operations Analyst and the Legal Operations Analyst, the MI Analyst will engage in a wide range of activitiesundertaken by the Group General Counsel team in order to provide efficiencies, risk management and process enhancement beneficial to the function.

Key Responsibilities
- Data Analytics / MI Reporting
- MI and Reporting: to assist the Group General Counsel in the production of reporting, including Harvest data;
- Support the Compliance and Governance function in the production of quarterly MI;
- Input into and preparation of reports for Committees and Board; and
- Finance KPI reporting.

Risk
- Routine maintenance of the Risk Registers, Remit document and the Key processes and Controls and ensuring that reviews are undertaken of these (as stated in each) and the related KPIs and KRIs, as appropriate;
- Support of the key role that Group General Counsel plays, alongside Operational Risk, in the breach assessment process; and
- Production of quarterly assurance maps, Finance KPI and enterprise KRI reporting.

Spend Management
- Being the central point of contact for the Group General Counsel team/ Finance for Group General Counsel Purchase Order queries;
Miscellaneous
- Support for Governance and Compliance relating to the implementation of new systems;
- Coordination of electronic signature requirements via DocuSign;
- Project management support for strategic projects and process documents as required;
- Support the Group General Counsel function with the onboarding of new suppliers and the adhoc management of existing suppliers, where required via the Supplier Toolkit;
Technical Competencies, Skills and Experience

Essential
- Proven experience of developing and delivering clear, accurate and relevant MI reports that aid decision making
- A demonstrable high degree of numeracy and analytical thinking
- Highly organised; ability to manage multiple workstreams, with competing priorities and differing delivery timescales
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Support of process enhancements and efficiencies
- Flexible approach with a willingness to learn and constructively challenge
- Sounds Financial understanding
- Logical, structured thought processes and good problem-solving skills

Desirable
- Some demonstrable awareness of the legal operations sector/ risk/ another control environment
- Knowledge of the Purchase Order process
- Previous budget management experience
- Familiar with Proactis and Power BI

This will be a Hybrid working role with 2 - 3 days at home per week
