The Role The role of Commercial Analyst has been created as the new Head of Corporate Finance looks to increase business effectiveness across several of the most cost and profit oriented business area's. My client has recently gone through a restructure which has identified a need for solid commercial accounting processes and the increase of talent around analytical information and presentation of to a high profile, but none finance orientated audience. This role is a true "get into the business" position which is well suited to a strong analyst from either a Management Accounting or Practice background who appreciates that finance is an add value function within the organisation which should be projectedthroughout the business and The role will involve - Profit optimisation - Champion "Best Practice" supporting Buying and Retail Teams - Financial Modelling - Internal operational review - Accounting variances to be plotted on flash report / Monthly / Annual - KPI creation and delivery The successful analyst will be an analyst who engages with internal stakeholders across the organisation and will therefore require excellent communication skills which can be used to demonstrate the commercial value of finance. This is a challenging role that is best suited to a talented newly qualified accountant who has the ability to communicate at a high level, build relationships, develop processes, and understand the necessity of Finance in an internal and external stake-holdingfacing position. The Company My client has gone through a massive growth stage which is now highlighting that there is massive scope for progression and development for the right person. Based on Oxford Road, Manchester, my client is a massive retailer who's brand is known globally. Salary & Benefits £38,000 to £45,000 basic, with bonus and unlimited progression opportunity.
