**Hours**: 21.5-25.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08.00-16.00

**Pay rate**: £22.99-27.01 per hour (exc WTD)

We are looking for an individual who can help with providing a speech and language therapy service within Rotherham Hospital and the surrounding community, to patients/Service users with complex communication difficulties and dysphagia.

**Role Details**:

- Organise and plan own caseload to meet service and patient/client priorities readjusting plans as situations change/arise, in consultation with a more senior colleague where appropriate.
- Be clinically responsible for a designated caseload of patients/clients and to organise this effectively and efficiently with regard to clinical priorities and use of time.
- Undertake a comprehensive assessment of patients/clients using a range of recognised and specialised clinical assessment techniques.
- Communicate complex and sensitive clinical information to patients/clients, carers, members of the MDT and team members.
- To provide intervention for patients/clients across the Rotherham Health & Social Care Community as appropriate.
- Hold a Degree in Speech & Language Therapy or equivalent.
- Be HCPC registered.
- Have previous NHS experience.
- Be Dysphagia trained to Specialist Dysphagia Practitioner level
- Have a driving license and access to a car.

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of
- Relevant Qualifications
- Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
