**Role: Undercover Operatives - ROCU Undercover Academy** **Rank: Constable** **Closing Date: 13/02/23** **MANAGEMENT VETTING / SECURITY CLEARANCE DESIGNATED POST** Undercover Operatives - ROCU WM Undercover Academy Regional Organised Crime Unit - West Midlands - Regional Undercover Unit Applications are invited from substantive constables or sergeants who seek a challenging and rewarding role within Covert Operations with a number of forthcoming part time vacancies for the role of Undercover Operative. NOTE: This is not a full time posting to the ROCU. You will retain your current Force posting but once successfully trained be deployed from your current Force post and return to your current Force post once the deployment(s) concludes. The role offers flexibility and to be part of a welcoming and inclusive team. Applicants need to be highly motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal skills. Successful applicants will require the highest individual standards of confidentiality, honesty and integrity. If successful in recruitment, the RUU Training Team will ensure the pathway to undercover disciplines is bespoke to the applicant and the potential skills they demonstrated during the recruitment phase. Successful applicants would be allocated a mentor and form part of a National and Regional cadre of specialists and be seconded on deployments as and when required.
