Now is an exciting time to join Dreams, the UK's number one specialist bed retailer. Due to our business expanding we are currently looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our fantastic store based in York.
Retail is vital for the success of our brand. Working in store you will be responsible for leading by example, ensuring that all our customers have an exceptional customer journey whilst they shop in store whilst supporting the Store Manager with key accountabilities.Using our industry leading Sleepmatch technology together with your excellent communication skills, you will work with each individual customer to ensure that we find them their 'great night's sleep'A passion for a personal sense of achievement, teamed withdrive to hit both individual and store targets is essential.
You should be able to demonstrate ambition to succeed balanced with the ability to support the team in the Store Manager's absence.
Previous experience within a sales experience is preferred although not essential, you will need to have the determination and self-motivation to work towards KPIs and sales targets and the confidence to approach customers and negotiate sales, as well as beable to support and coach team members.
We will offer you uncapped earning potential, based on your sales performance as well as generous employee discount and retail trust scheme.
Dreams are operational 7 days a week, so this role will involve working weekends and bank holidays.
