- Operate saws and other cutting equipment to cut various materials according to specifications
- Read cutting list, drawings, and work orders to determine cutting requirements
- Set up and adjust saws for proper cutting angles, speeds, and feeds
- Inspect materials for defects and ensure they meet quality standards before cutting
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to maintain accurate cuts
- Measure and mark materials for cutting using measuring tools and templates
- Remove finished pieces from the machine and stack or package them for further processing or shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
