**Introduction**

We are looking for a Procurement Agent to join the team and lead the negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions within Boeing. You will prepare, develop and execute sourcing strategies that result in cost savings to the business.

Hybrid working with 2 days in the office per week

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with implementation of contracts originating from the United States
- Support or participate in cross functional teams to resolve supplier performance issues and support development of strategic supplier solutions
- Lead or participate in supply chain process improvement teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities
- Work with internal customers to formalize procurement requirements and identify potential suppliers
- Prepare Requests for Quotation and other required bidding documents
- Draft agreements using approved terms and conditions templates
- Launch and manage Requests for Quotation
- Lead proposal analyses and develop negotiation strategies
- Lead the supplier negotiation process
- Negotiate all elements of the contract
- Prepare and execute negotiated documents, coordinating with US team on contracts assigned to US legal entity
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements
- Manage contract terminations
- Contribute to fulfilling customer and program strategic requirements
- Lead suppliers and stakeholders in the development of risk, issue and opportunities management plans
- Participate in cross functional teams to deploy improved processes, systems and tools
- Lead project and procurement strategy reviews
- Provide market and peer benchmarking insight and actionable data to integrate into current and future contracting and supply base strategies
- Manage and analyse supplier performance
- Lead supplier performance business reviews
- Provide direction to suppliers to improve performance and ensure contractual requirements are met
- Manage supplier import and export regulatory requirements

Examples of commodities: Security Equipment & Services, Integrated Facilities Management, Construction Services, tooling and Capital Equipment

**Required Qualifications**
- Fundamental contract and relationship management skills, with proven experience at all phases of the procurement cycle for projects and commodities
- Good understanding of legal liabilities in relation to contracts
- Business management, international business & procurement (e.g. MCIPS) desirable
- Engineering/manufacturing background desirable
- Experience of negotiating contracts
- Experience conducting business in an international environment is desirable
- Proven experience in indirect procurement and supplier management
