**Are you an experienced gardener looking for a new challenge?** Perhaps you are currently working as a self-employed gardener but miss being part of a team? Are you a parent looking for a position to fit around school hours? We are a fairly unique company, because we are all real gardeners and we love plants We don't do grounds maintenance and we don't do landscaping. But we do love a nice cuppa and chat with our customers (especially about plants).

Main duties of this role include:

- Weeding
- Pruning, training & deadheading
- Soil improvement
- Making plant recommendations and planting new borders
- Identifying and treating pests and diseases
- Sharing gardening ideas with our customers over a cuppa

All staff work autonomously, building strong relationships with their customers and really feeling a sense of achievement from helping their customers to improve their gardens, with the support of a friendly team around them.

This position requires you to work outside in all weather conditions. You must have a driving license and your own transport.

All hours are fixed, with a permanent schedule and regular customers. All contracts are based on annualised hours, meaning team members complete slightly more hours per week in the summer months, in order to bank hours for the winter, to allow for lost time due to weather, lack of daylight etc.

This is not a grounds maintenance or landscaping position, it is a horticultural position. It requires excellent plant knowledge and a passion for creating and maintaining beautiful gardens.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 21 per week
