Your role will involve preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and contributing to the highest level of customer service. This opportunity would be perfect for a uni student looking for a bit of extra money over the holidays.
**Duties**
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to their needs promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Demonstrate basic maths skills for processing payments and managing tabs.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic bartending skills or willingness to learn is desirable.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour with a passion for helping others.
