**Responsible for**: N/A

**Hours of work**: 35 hours per week plus any additional hours necessary for the performance of duties. Flexibility regarding working days and times is required due to the nature of the business.

**Contractual status**:Permanent

**Job purpose**: To create visually attractive designs that will engage our fans, promote our club, and support various business functions across Blackburn Rovers.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- To be committed to ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of all stakeholders promoting their well-being whilst maintaining professional boundaries;
- To work closely with the marketing, media, and commercial teams to produce high-quality graphics for print, digital, social media, and internal communications across a range of campaigns to promote the club and all commercial activities;
- Develop an exciting, adaptable creative style to the highest standards for the brand, and complementary creatives for relevant sub brands;
- Maintain consistency in Blackburn Rovers’ visual identity across all platforms and materials, ensuring that all designs align with the club's brand guidelines;
- Work closely with the marketing and media teams to develop and execute creative campaigns, promotions, and visual content that supports club initiatives, sponsorships, and fan engagement;
- Create eye-catching and shareable visuals for social media platforms to engage with our fanbase and drive traffic and engagement;
- Assist with the creation of event and matchday materials, including tickets, signage, digital screens, and merchandise designs; and
- Collaborate with the media team to support any photography or video requirements, including post-production tasks such as editing and retouching.

**Skills required**:

- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and other relevant design software;
- Strong conceptual thinking and a keen eye for detail;
- Ability to translate ideas into compelling visuals that captivate and engage the target audience;
- Experience working with and developing brand guidelines and maintaining consistency in design across different media;
- Familiarity with the unique design requirements for social media platforms and how to optimize content for various formats;
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment to support multiple commercial campaigns simultaneously; and
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly to changing requirements or priorities.

**Knowledge / experience required**:

- Knowledge of video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) is desirable;
- Proven track record of working in s graphic design role, ideally within sports, entertainment, or a related field;
- A genuine interest in football and a passion for supporting the club’s mission is highly desirable; and
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, sponsors, and partners.

**Qualifications required**:

- Portfolio of demonstrable content created for commercial purposes (essential);
- Experience within a sporting environment (desirable)

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
