**The Role**:
As our Workshop Controller, youll report directly to our Workshop Supervisor, and will interact daily with senior internal and potentially external stakeholders. Excellent communications skills and the ability to multi-task is therefore crucial in this role.
**Key Accountabilities**:
Workshop loading and resource allocation this includes servicing, defects, MOT/ADR
Parts allocation
Arranging 3rd party contractors where required
Process workshop paperwork defect reports, compliance documentation, job cards, purchase orders.
Liaising with shift team leaders to gain a clear view of timescales and present position repairs on vehicles to give comprehensive updates to operations.
Updating the Fleet Management system to ensure accurate record keeping
Ensuring all administration and documentation are in place to ensure compliance and safety
**Required Experience**:
In-depth understanding of HGV workshop operations
Demonstrable ownership and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills, collaboration, stakeholder management and resilience
Good written and verbal communication skills are essential
Innovative thinker, able to respond quickly in a dynamic environment
Market / industry / regulatory knowledge
**Desirable Experience**:
High proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint
