Acorns Children’s Hospice have an exciting opportunity for an ICT Apprentice to support with the day-to-day running of the ICT Service Desk and complete a Level 3 ICT course

**About the Role**

Acorns Children's Hospice are a children's charity, offering specialist palliative nursing care and support for local children and their families. Every year, we support over 750 children and nearly 1,000 families, including those who are bereaved.

As ICT Support Apprentice, you will:

- Complete a Level 3 ICT course covering topics including IT troubleshooting, device configuration, network services, cloud-based services and more
- Support our ICT team by providing 1st line support to users across the organisation
- Install and configure software & hardware
- Diagnose network issues
- Complete system administration tasks such as creation, deletion & updating of user accounts.

On successful completion of the course, you'll join as a permanent member of our Tier 1 Helpdesk Support Team.

**About You**
- Enthusiasm for IT
- Good working knowledge of hardware such as laptops, desktops, printers, mobile phones and tablets
- Awareness of ICT communication methods

**What We Offer**
- £19,000 per annum
- 37.5 hours per week
- Based in Wythall, Birmingham (B47 6JR) with travel to Acorns sites
