This is a fantastic opportunity to join as a **Transport Manager** with**Gibbs & Dandy**where the focus is to support the branch for all customer transport activity. Also to deliver the best customer delivery service at the lowest cost to serve possible whilst adhering to compliance processes and policies.

As a **Transport Manager**with**Gibbs & Dandy**the key responsibilities are:

- Management of all commercial vehicles to meet customer value proposition
- Management of delivery capacity
- Management of DX loading and authorising of Hire drivers
- Adherence to transport legal compliance and related EHS providing advice to team
- Management of Driver resource

To be suitable for the **Transport Manager**with**Gibbs & Dandy**you need to have:

- Proven experience in Transport Management
- Experience in transport and route planning
- Experience in vehicle compliance is essential
- Good relationship building skills and ability to work well with other team members
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Good understanding of EHS standards
- Motivated with a willingness to learn and progress through the organisation
- Strong Planning skills and ability to solve problems and make effective decisions quickly
- Strong IT / analytical skills particular Excel & Word
