**The School**

Nurse Seekers are excited to be working for a residential specialist school, registered as a children’s home. The school specialises in educating children and young people with severe intellectual disabilities who are on the autistic spectrum in a residentialsetting.

The school is located in sunny Broadstairs within 13 acres, with 7 children’s homes, 5 term time homes and 2 all year-round homes.

**The Role**

**Career Progression**

The school is big on progression and career development having promoted 41 staff in the last year and 34 the year before. Along with this, they have an on-site NCFE training centre with nationally recognised assessors who can deliver NVQ’s Level 2 Safe Handlingof Medication, Level 3 Residential Childcare, Level 5 Leadership and Management in Residential Childcare. This is in addition to other training on offer such as: Epilepsy, lifeguard, first aid and Restrictive Practice and Intervention training.
