The Customer Propositions team is at the heart of Vodafone Business and plays an integral part in driving Vodafone’s market ambition to win in the IT and Communications market. The Propositions team are responsible for delivering customer propositions that add clear, differentiated value for both our customers and our business - allowing us to win in the market and deliver our ambitions for profitable growth.
A role in the customer proposition team requires a great understanding of our customers, our competitors, and the market, but also a focus on brilliant execution to take those ideas and turn them into reality. We are also looking for individuals with flair and imagination to think differently about what we do going forward; all great sales journeys start with the customer proposition.
This is an exciting period of growth for the Propositions team, and this role is part of our portfolio propositions team; with a particular focus on helping to shape and accelerate our Voice, Connectivity and UC products and services.
The key value behind this role is to evangelise our portfolio with our sales teams; helping them to understand our offering and why it’s so compelling to customers; feeding into our product roadmap, working hand-in-glove with Product Management to deliver a market leading portfolio and to accelerate the commercial performance of the portfolio by coming up with innovative promotions and marketing activity. This isn’t just about launching shiny new things; it’s about driving the overall performance of the category in life through any means; working closely with sales, understanding customers’ needs and helping us to stand out from our competitors.
**What will you be doing?**
- Evaluating market opportunities using analyst reports and market data.
- Develop differentiated proposition positioning to support our “why Vodafone” message to be used across our internal and external business assets.
- Commissioning customer insight and research to support the development of existing and future propositions.
- Work closely with product/GTM teams to support them e2e at launches as well as provide them with key market trends.
- Reporting on product performance and contributing to business case building to be signed off by senior management.
**Who are we looking for?**
- Experience within Telecoms or Marketing
- High level of cross functional stakeholder engagement
- Experience of engaging with Senior Management
- Excellent analytical/problems solving experience
- Commercial knowledge and acumen, especially towards identifying revenue and margin opportunities
- Good knowledge of connectivity market
- Excel/Powerpoint skills
- Marketing acumen
