**Secretarial Duties**: Audio and copy typing of medical letters, referral forms, and other correspondence. Process referrals via e-RS (electronic Referral System) or other referral platforms. Maintain accurate records of correspondence, ensuring timely dispatch and follow-up. Manage incoming and outgoing mail related to clinical matters.
**Administrative Support**: Maintain patient records and ensure proper filing of clinical documents. Liaise with hospitals, consultants, and community services regarding patient appointments and results. Manage and prioritise incoming tasks and correspondence from clinicians. Track and chase up outstanding referrals, test results, and letters.
**Other administrative tasks as they arise. Patient Liaison**: Respond to patient queries regarding referrals and medical correspondence in a professional manner. Handle sensitive and confidential information in accordance with data protection regulations. Team and Practice Support: Work closely with the reception and admin team to ensure seamless communication.
Attend team meetings and training as required. Assist with general administrative duties to support the smooth operation of the practice.
