Job Introduction **HMP & YOI Bronzefield** is the largest women’s prison in Europe which accommodates a diverse and complex population of women from restricted Status women who require the highest levels of security, women on remand (Who are often experiencing custody for the first time), as well as supporting women with chronic mental health conditions.

We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our established team at **HMP Bronzefield **as a **Cleaner.** In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning public and communal areas, stairwells, and offices within designated areas of the prison, following a pre-determined cleaning schedule.

- Carry out scheduled cleaning tasks across all areas, including kitchens, toilets, communal spaces, healthcare facilities, and offices, ensuring timely completion.
- Empty waste receptacles and dispose of rubbish in the designated area, adhering to the internal waste management process.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the site and ensure the replenishment of stock and consumables, such as toilet tissue and hand sanitizers.
- Comply with all company policies related to infection control, security, and COSHH regulations is essential, and you will participate in any necessary training.
- Conduct all activities safely by wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE) and following relevant Sodexo processes.
- Report any safety issues, faulty equipment, or other concerns to the line manager.
- Previous experience in industrial or office cleaning.
- A focused and dynamic team player who can quickly adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in following a cleaning schedule.

**Package Description** **£20,019.65 (£17,222.72 plus London Weighting) per annum.**
**Working Hours**
**30.00 hours (Regular Monday - Friday pattern)**
