This is a really exciting time to join Children’s Hospices Across Scotland - better known as CHAS - Scotland’s national children’s hospice service. Our multidisciplinary team of staff and volunteers share an authentic passion for delivering the highest possible standard of care to babies, children, young people and their families.

As a senior nursing support worker in CHAS at home, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic palliative care, end of life care and respite care for the child and their whole family primarily in their in own home. You will have the opportunity to use your existing skills and knowledge, complemented by the education, clinical supervision and 1:1 support that we provide to develop yourself to deliver an excellent standard of care and support in the community.
You will work as part of our dynamic outreach team, Balloch, combining specialist palliative care with making precious memories and moments of joy through play, arts and crafts, outdoor activities and new experiences; ensuring that no matter how short a family’s time together may be, it is a time filled with happiness and fun.
**About You**
In order to provide a high standard of care in families homes, and to help CHAS achieve its objectives, you will have:
- Educated to SVQ level 3/ have a HNC in Health, Social or Child Care or be able to evidence equivalent experience.
- You will have relevant knowledge of clinical care, and working as part of a team
- Experience of working with babies, children or young people.
