**CODE CAMP - TEACHING ASSISTANTS WANTED FOR AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS (no teaching qualification required - would suit childcare and education students, drama students and teaching assistants)**

Code Camp is Australia's leading childcare provider and we are growing fast in the UK We have partnered with over 100 UK primary schools since 2018 and taught over 100,000 kids to code globally since 2013. We are looking to make a hugely positive impact on STEM Education. Our staff work hard and love the collaborative effort of creating unique and engaging learning experiences for kids. We are looking for fun and energetic staff to assist at our holiday camps and after-school clubs

The Role:

- Teaching Assistant_
- Provides one on one help to individual students during class
- Any student falling behind will need you to guide them in the right direction
- Keep an eye out for any misbehaviour or disruption

**Required Skills**:

- Enjoy working with kids and have a vibrant and enthusiastic can do attitude
- Currently completing, or have completed your tertiary studies
- Fun personality
- Mature outlook and common sense
- Work well in a team environment
- Be able to take initiative when working unsupervised
- Fluent conversational English
- The coding that is taught at Code Camp is relatively basic (for most kids this will be their first time learning to code, so an in depth knowledge is not necessary). We will ask all successful applicants to take an hour or two to familiarise themselves with the coding that will be taught at camp._

Key information

We are currently looking for Lead Teachers and Assistants to work at a number of primary schools in and around Bromley. We will be running after-school clubs at 5 different primary schools in the area after the Summer holidays. These clubs will run for 8-10 weeks.
