Residential school and Children’s Home for Children Young People aged 8-19. Cotswold Chine School, part of Novalis Trust, is a progressive charity working with children with Neurodevelopmental Difficulties many of whom have had Adverse Childhood Experiences. Due to growth and development the school are looking to recruit energetic and committed Key Workers, interested in working in a diverse team implementing current best practice models in residential care.
Cotswold Chine School is set in the beautiful tranquil Cotswold countryside and comprises of a school and 9 residences for up to 60 children and young people. The Trust offers outstanding professional development opportunities and excellent staff support.
Key workers have a crucial role in each home, through establishing key support relationships with children and young people and giving them the care, guidance and support they need to thrive.
As part of our energetic Care Team you will have the opportunity to support children and young people to make the most out of their lives, reach their potential and feel at home and safe in their community.
What we offer:
- Training delivered by internationally recognised experts in their field, as well as nationally regulated qualifications and other CPD opportunities, including a level 3 RQF qualification in Residential Care.
- Basic gross earnings of £2,387+ a month depending on experience and qualifications, with the opportunity to do overtime.
- A Fixed 2-week rota including 2 sleep-ins each week, paid at £89
- Being part of a community setting, with fantastic team relationships and staff support
- 3/4 days off per week (generally 2/3 weekdays and 1 day each weekend)
- Equivalent of 5.6 weeks annual leave per year
- Free onsite parking and free lunch/meals provided.
As a medium sized charity with over 300 employees across 4 sites, there are opportunities for career progression within the Trust.
