Garment Technologist

Brand& provides bespoke branded clothing and accessory collections for prestigious brands. Through distinctive design and uncompromising production quality, we express the brand’s essence and personality across the range, with roots in motorsports as a subsidiary of Prodrive.

We are searching for a Garment Technologist to source and develop multiple garment and accessory products and manage projects.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work with the Design team to ensure that all specifications of assigned products are appropriate in order to achieve the highest level of quality
- To ensure the functional and quality demands of our products are met from the product briefs throughout production
- Assist sample reviews and sign offs for accuracy, quality and function prior to production ensuring that all products meet business expectations
- Manage and support on testing and safety standards ensuring all products meet minimum requirements on testing
- To oversee projects and deliver results in line with target prices, quality levels and delivery dates
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers ensuring best total acquisition costs
- Place purchase orders within the agreed time frame, negotiating/agreeing all contractual issues before order placement
- Develop suppliers to continually improve service ie costs, quality, delivery and support
- Feedback delivery information to production/sales team and ensure best communication throughout the company
- Liaise with testing houses regarding reporting/invoicing and certification of product elements
