Service Engineer

We're ramping up our service department and investing in good people. Are you an electrically biased, multi skilled Service Engineer looking to earn great money, working on top-of-the-line food processing,bakery equipment? If you've got 17th / 18th editionand experience of working in the food industry (as a Maintenance Engineer or Service Engineer) we want to hear from you to cover the North of England.

**BASIC SALARY**: Up to £50,000

**LOCATION: Home based** - covering various food and bakery clients across the North West of England

**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Electrical Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Multi skilled Engineer - Bakery, Food, PPMA

This is a home based role offering service engineering to a broad client base of food manufacturing, bakery customers across the UK. There is a heavy bias towards scheduled preventative maintenance, but also reactive breakdowns across the North of England withinthe food, bakery sector.

We may need you to stay away for one or two nights per week - maybe more if we've got a big project on - but you'll get plenty of notice and be well compensated.

- As part of our highly skilled and expanding service engineering team, you will service a wide variety of high profile clients from across the bakery / food manufacturing sector.
- You're paid door to door and there's plenty of overtime too if you want it... 10 hours per week is typical and you're paid on everything over the standard 37 hours per week
- There's a weekend rota too - as the bakery industry never stops There will maybe be the requirement to work 1 in 4 weekends to provide cover and attend critical breakdowns, but we are blessed with a flexible engineering team who are keen to help

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**: Electrical Service Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Multi skilled Engineer - Bakery, Food, PPMA
- Ideally, you're an experienced and qualified Engineer with either a field service or a Maintenance Engineer background and exposure to repair, maintenance, fault-finding, installation, or commissioning of FMCG related manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Our machines are Siemens PLC's - but we are open to your background if it is Allen Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi etc.
- You will have an approved electrical engineering qualification which will allow you to sign off your own work.
- Specific exposure to food processing or bakery equipment would be an advantage.
