Working for this long established FMCG business, they are now seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing the receipt of goods in, and dispatch in a busy B2B and direct to customer warehouse distribution business. TheWarehouse Manager will also be responsible for managing the warehousing team of around 30-35 people depending on trading levels(inc temp staff). This role has a work schedule of Monday - Friday, 7.30am - 5:30pm.

The company are a leading distributor of homeware/small appliance goods, both out to business and also direct to customer from the warehouse situated in Whitefield/bury area and share this warehouse with another company.

The key responsibilities for the role of Warehouse Manager will be:

- Being a hands on Manager for the team of up to 35 people in the warehouse(inc some temp staff), leading from the front.
- Overseeing dispatch of goods both B2B on pallets, and direct to customer via parcel carrier.
- Liaising with freight carries and parcel companies, as well as other departments in the service centre, such as packaging.
- Overseeing a next day/2 day lead time on B2B orders..
- Using the inhouse Navision system to monitor the movement of stock(training will be given).
- Reporting directly into the head of operations, reporting warehousing performance.
- Report on health and safety matters that may arise from time to time.
- Experience in a warehousing management role, particularly dispatch/goods out.
- Experience managing a team of around 35 people.
- Experience in both B2B distribution and also direct to customer.
- The ability to use nav system systems(but not essential).
- A hands on approach, leading from the front.
- An FLT/VNA licence is an advantageous but not essential
