We are seeking caring individuals who can empathise with SEN students and pave the way for them to thrive within an education setting.

Teaching assistants play a pivotal role within a SEN school setting, giving that extra support to students who require further help & guidance.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Classroom Support**: Help teachers in delivering lessons, managing classroom activities, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
- **Student Guidance**: Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts, assist with assignments, and provide additional support as needed.
- **Resource Management**: Assist in organizing and preparing teaching materials, ensuring that resources are readily available for lessons and activities.
- **Behavioural Support**: Implement and reinforce positive behaviour management strategies, promoting a respectful manner.
- **Supervision**: Monitor students during class activities, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
- **Communication**: Maintain open and effective communication with teachers, parents, and fellow staff members.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in an educational setting is desirable, although not vital.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine interest in the well-being of students and children.
- A DBS on the Updates Service, or be willing to obtain one
