**Senior Business Administrator**
**Location**:Wrexham
**Salary**: Up to £26,000 per annum (FTE)
**Job Type**:Permanent, 30-37.5 hours per week (Flexible hours Monday - Friday)
Our clients are looking to appoint a proactive, task driven and experienced person to join the administration support team in a brand-new role at their Hospice. The role will specifically coordinate information governance, complaints, policies and procedures.This is a fantastic opportunity to make the role your own and develop processes and procedures that will make a real difference to the running of the organisation.
**The Role**
- To be a key contact for the Hospice’s appointed Data Protection Officer (DPO) and work with all departments to ensure any required actions are implemented.
- To coordinate any information governance or data protection tasks with the support of the Hospice’s appointed DPO.
- To ensure all policies, procedures, risk assessments, incidents are reviewed by Heads of departments in a timely manner.
- To facilitate the quarterly sub-group meetings of Governance and Facilities and Health and Safety, ensuring actions are followed through to completion.
- To assist the Operations Manager in various work streams and projects.
- To be confident and competent with excellent organisational skills to ensure workload is prioritised and deadlines are achieved.
- To coordinate the Hospice’s complaints procedure.
**Qualifications/Skills**
- GCSE qualifications to include English and maths grade C or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Senior Administration/PA role. Awareness of GDPR.
- Proven administrative skills with an ability to prioritise, manage and complete a variety of tasks at times in periods of high pressure.
- Flexible, proactive and self-starter in approach to work.
- Able to use own initiative to resolve and progress projects.
- Able to be pro-active and show good leadership.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to be able to work with a wide variety of internal and external contacts.
- Good and pro-active communication skills.
- Able to deal with routine administration work such as filing and photocopying.
