Payroll Manager - Interim
Plymouth - Work from home, with some office requirement
£28,000 to £38,000
6 month contract
This is an opportunity to join one of Plymouth's best known companies, who is recruiting a Payroll Manager to lead on a project delivery of a system implementation. You will need to have excellent payroll skills and be able to use those skills to preparea monthly payroll, and implement the new system which is estimated to take 6 months.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementation of a new payroll system, and testing for role out this autumn
- Testing of glitches
- Communication with the new system provider via Teams
- Development of new processes
- Management of payroll processes working with a team to deliver payroll via the new system.
- Provide guidance and training to the payroll team and stakeholders as required
- Manage project, improvements and procedure updates
You will be working as part of the payroll & finance team, the ability to undertake additional duties as part of the accountancy team is desirable.
Your background: Monthly/ Weekly Payroll experience of over 500 staff
- Experience of Reconciling Payroll accounts
- Organised, with strong analytical and communication skills
- Experience of ADP would be an advantage
- Project management skills
