The Role: Lean Manager

Salary £50-£55k

Hours: 37.5 per week (0800-1630 Monday to Thursday, Friday 0800-1330)

Location: Burton on Trent

Role Profile:

- Promotes LEAN thinking and occasion, performs internal training and education for employees, communicates, demonstrates, and displays LEAN standards referring to LEAN rules, tools, methods, value-added mapping, audit tools, etc.
- Create and document standard templates and instructions for LEAN training.
- Participates in the design of KAIZEN road map, plans the projects in time, forms the teams, kick off KAIZEN activities, drives through KAIZEN and ensures goals are met on time.
- Plan, performs and follows-up regular 5S audits, trains others in performing audits, manages the 5S competition between areas and report
- Drives through various development and change management projects such as IT systems development, production technology development, experiments for modern technologies, including education and training.
- Manages the Employee Initiative Program, secure the purpose and SQDC orientation.
- Standardize the program procedures and simplify the formalities.
- Participates in forums and associations for future operations development
- Support and participate in the continuous improvement forums on a global scale within operations.
