HMS are recruiting x1 Estimator / Pre-contract Coordinator to become an integrated part of the Commercial Team, providing estimating and preconstruction contract administration functions for the company.

Based in HMS Stonebridge, Liverpool you will be required to support the business to ensure construction and maintenance activities are performed on a commercial basis and generate surpluses in line with business plan expectations.

**This is an important role in which you will**:

- Undertake the Estimating administration process, including:

- project programming;
- risk assessments;
- measurement of drawings;
- production of tender reports;
- forecasting of the tenders.
- Produce project tender bids so that accurate tender evaluation can be undertaken by the QS’s.
- Produce the bid summary for adjudication and approval.
- Prepare a draft project / resource plan for inclusion with the tender submission.
- Manage the estimating process on new projects, tender evaluation process and lead the submission in conjunction with the Business Development Manager.
- Ensure the best possible commercial results are always delivered to maximize potential income revenue in line with the contract.

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Experience of commercial quantity surveying/estimating.
- Able to demonstrate considerable knowledge of construction.
- Understand contractual requirements for example JCT and NEC Construction Contracts.
- Experience of using a computerised system including programming software.
- Full UK or EU driving licence.
